Day 328: Hey Mickey

Hey Dolls,

I have a fun simple design for you today I call Hey Mickey. For the base color I used China Glaze Gothic Lolita. Then With a dotting tool and craft smart acrylic paint in black I made polka dots all over the nail. Then I glued on a mickey head I made out of polymer clay and one of my 3d nail molds. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel……

Day 328: China Glaze- Blue Sparrow

Hey Dolls,

I have another interesting neon for you today this one is called Blue Sparrow from China Glaze Ink Collection. Blue Sparrow is a royal blue peppered with light blue glitter. The glitter leaves a gritty feel to the dried polish so between that and the matte finish you really need to use a coat of a thick glossy top coat to bring out the lacquer’s true brilliance. I’m showing you the color without top coat but I included pictures of it with a top coat. It’s such a gorgeous blue color with blue micro-glitter and it dries a neon/matte finish.  It was a bit streaky during application and took about 3 or 4 coats for it to look good, but I really LOVE this nail lacquer!! The blue is so vibrant and perfect for any time of the year in my opinion.  Personally, I like the matte finish but you can always add a top coat if you’d like some shine.  That’s all for now until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…….
