Day 321: OPI – Save Me

Hey Dolls,

I have a fun polish for you today called Save Me from OPI’s Nicki Minaj Collection. Save Me is tons of silver micro glitter with tons of teal blue bar glitter that is holographic and changes colors once the lights hits it just right in a clear base. You can wear it alone with just three to four layers but it is a bit of a pain to remove and you may need three top coats so it will be smooth because the bar glitter is a little on the sharp side. You can also wear it alone over other colors to give them a little pizzazz.  I’m addicted to glitter so of course I loved this polish!  The formula was easy to work with.  I had a few of the normal issues I usually have with bar glitter, like getting it applied evenly and making sure all the pieces laid flat, but still, totally worth it. Do you own this polish?  If so, do you prefer to layer it or wear it alone?  I think it would look great layered over so many different colors. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..

Day 286: China Glaze – Blonde Bombshell

Hey Dolls,

I have a fun gold polish for you today that is an amazing glitter bomb, it is called Blonde Bombshell from China Glaze Eye Candy 3D glitter Collection. Blonde Bombshell is various sized gold glitters. You have micro glitter, larger round glitter even  bar glitter all in a clear base. I love this glitter because I don’t own  much gold polish let alone a gold glitter. This one is very unique because of the various size and type of glitters in it. The bar glitter isn’t super noticeable unless you look at this polish up close, but it’s a nice surprise and gives this polish a little something extra. Blonde Bombshell’s formula is a bit thick; not enough so that I would thin it but still enough that I noticed some drag. This polish is very Vegas showgirl to me; it’s glamorous, flashy and fun. You could easily layer this if you wanted to go for a different look and maybe bring out each individual type of glitter in this polish more, but it also looks really lovely on its own. Like I said on previous posts of other shades in this collection, it was named after Marilyn Monroe and her movies. I love this whole collection. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..

Day 266: Wet N’ Wild – Give Me A Price Quote

Hey Dolls,

I have another glitter bomb for you today this one is called Give Me A Price Quote from Wet N’ Wilds Coloricon Ice Baby Collection. Give A Price Quote is a yellow gold glitter, it has small micro glitter as well as bar glitter. I’m on the fence with this one I’m not a huge fan of yellow golds but I make an exception for this one because it is packed with glitter :D. The formula is on thick side, the polish is a little dense so it is hard to get even coats on the nail, but three coats made it fully opaque. You can wear it alone or over another color to jazz up your manicure. This polish was $2.99 each for 0.34 fl. oz each.  Yes, a dollar more expensive than previous Wet’n’Wild ColorIcon polishes but I would like to point out that they are crammed full of glitter. Well worth the cost I think , Of course if you hate glitter….But who hates glitter???? NOT ME I LOVE GLITTER :D. The finish when it dries on this one is rough and it does soak up top coat like there is no tomorrow so just a few coats of top coats will help with that and it also dries a little matte no worries , all can be fix. This collection was exclusive to Walgreens. I also took some pictures of it over Wet N Wild Ink Well to show you how it looks layered over another polish. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..

Day 234: Wet n’ Wild – 24 Carats

Hey Dolls,

I have another polish from Wet N’ Wild Coloricon Ice Baby Collection, this one is called 24 Carats. 24 Carats is a bar glitter. This one is like New Years Eve confetti on your nails! I see copper, gold, and silver bar glitter mixed in with smaller glitter in the same three colors. This one can be worn alone or over another color it becomes opaque in two to three coats. There’s a lot going on, and it kinda reminds me of shag carpet, but I like it! The application was pretty easy, it doesn’t quite go on like butter but it is better then some thick glitter polishes, it went on quite nicely. I also took some pictures of it alone and also over Orly liquid Vinyl and Orly Luxe. Just to show how it can spice of any mani. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel….

Day 205: China glaze – Marry A Millionaire

Hey Dolls,

Hello my lovely Dollies today’s polish is from a collection I just learned about so I wasn’t able to post about it but I have the whole collection and I will so you them all individually and after that I will do a collection post. Ok this one is called Marry A Millionaire from China Glaze Eye Candy 3-D Glitter Collection. This collection is a tribute to Marilyn Monroe ok so the fact that they are all glitters and a tribute to Marilyn Monroe you had me sold at Eye Candy lol. Marry A Millionaire is is a mix of small, round, light lavender glitter plus fine stringy/bar glitter in a gold/green/blue multichrome color. At some angles it looks like there’s some dark purple glitter in here, too, but I’m having a hard time picking out the individual particles. The stringy glitter is dominant in this one. Very complex and interesting! And opaque enough to wear it by itself instead of being topcoat-sheer like a lot of stringy glitters tend to be. I LOVE THIS ONE SO MUCH I will have to buy a back up hehehe. anyways like I said you can totally wear this one alone in two coats you have full opaqueness. You can also wear this one alone I took pictures of it over Revlon- Rock, Wet n’ Wild – Ink Well and OPI – Jade Is The New Black to show you what it looks like over different colors. Thats all for today lovelies, until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..

Day 188: Dare To Wear – Disc Jockey

Hey Dolls,

GLITTER AND MORE GLITTER, you should know by know i’m a glitter freak I love all and anything glitter oh and if the glitter happens to be GREEN oh hot damn you better watch out it must be mine. Today’s polish is called Disc Jockey from Dear To Wear Disco Tech Collection. I first saw this at the salon where my mom works the manicurist had it on her nail polish wall and I fell in love, I typed the name and brand in my phone and the rest is history folks heheheheh. Disc Jockey is a lime green glitter polish with bar glitter, silver and green tiny dot glitter, and big green hexagonal glitter in a sheer lime green base. (drool) I love this glitter it makes me happy just looking at the bottle. I took pistures of it by itself and also of it over sinful colors Irish Green which is similar to the base color. This one is on the sheer side but with three or four coats you probably can get some opaqueness. You can wear this one alone, or over a similar color or for a different effect over a totally different color. This is a yummy amazeballs glitter, ahhh I love it and I love sharing it with you lovelies, until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..

Day 186: Wet n’ Wild Fantasy Makers- Black Magic (Original)

Hey Dolls,

I have a fun fun fun glitter for you, I know I already posted about Black Magic but this is Black Magic that came out before that one. Like I said this is Black Magic by Wet n’ Wild Fantasy Makers. This is from a past Halloween collection  (2007? 2008?)  I’m not sure if they did a color called Black Magic before this one so I’m hesitant to call it the original Black Magic, but for posting purposes I will call this one the original black magic. Black Magic is a very fine bar glitter, stringy glitter in a rainbow of colors suspended in a clear base. One of my favorite bar glitters of all time. It’s so colorful and happy looking, like a party in a bottle. For a multicolor glitter, it looks surprisingly not like a birthday party threw up on your nails. This is two coats over bare nail, but it looks good over black or any other color for that matter. I took a few pictures of it alone and some over black. I love this glitter. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..
