Day 328: China Glaze- Blue Sparrow

Hey Dolls,

I have another interesting neon for you today this one is called Blue Sparrow from China Glaze Ink Collection. Blue Sparrow is a royal blue peppered with light blue glitter. The glitter leaves a gritty feel to the dried polish so between that and the matte finish you really need to use a coat of a thick glossy top coat to bring out the lacquer’s true brilliance. I’m showing you the color without top coat but I included pictures of it with a top coat. It’s such a gorgeous blue color with blue micro-glitter and it dries a neon/matte finish.  It was a bit streaky during application and took about 3 or 4 coats for it to look good, but I really LOVE this nail lacquer!! The blue is so vibrant and perfect for any time of the year in my opinion.  Personally, I like the matte finish but you can always add a top coat if you’d like some shine.  That’s all for now until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…….

Day 327: China Glaze – Flying Dragon

Hey Dolls,

Well what do we have here? an oldie but goodie. Today I have China Glaze’s Flying Dragon it was originally from their Neon Ink Collection, but I believe it is permanently part of their core colors now. Flying Dragon OMG is an awesome color it is a neon purple/magenta that has tons of amazing pink and blue glitter in it. Amazeballz. Like I said it is a neon polish and  in case you weren’t aware, neons dry to a semi-matte finish. If you don’t like that, simply slap on a shiny top coat like I did and you’re good to go. In my opinion it’s MUCH more stunning shiny – you’re just not doing the polish justice and you may or may not like it matte. I don’t know if my pictures do this polish justice but I took pictures of it bare and with a top coat to see if I could capture how amazingly unique this polish is I love it. If you don’t have this in your collection you must go out and buy it right now. lol Now on to the nail porn, until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel……

Day 326: China Glaze – Aquadelic

Hey Dolls,

Happy Monday how did your’s go? Mine was a lazy day I had today off I didn’t do much but atleast I got caught up on my posts. Today’s polish I have for you today is called Aquadelic From China Glaze’s Electropop Collection. Aquadelic is a Tiffany Blue Aqua creme polish. It has a few dupes out there that come to mind Essie Greenport,China Glaze For Audrey and Orly Gumdrop. I will do some comparisons soon. This one is just like Gaga For Green application wise it goes on like butter and i am totally digging the shade of this polish this is another favorite for me. It can be opaque in one coat but I love my three coats. This polish is awesome, I totally recommend to add it to any collection. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..

Day 324: China Glaze- Gaga For Green

Hey Dolls,

I have an awesome polish for you today called Gaga For Green from China Glaze Electropop Collection. Gaga For Green is a froggy spring kelly green creme almost jelly-ish polish. Lemme tellya, I am GAGA for this! When I first saw this and the name I instantly thought of Lady Gaga dress as a frog, hehehe . Gaga For Green by China Glaze is a fresh kind of green that reminds me of spring because it’s light and carefree. It’s a simple shade of green that I respect. It’s easy for a polish with glitter to get your attention, but when you get a color that’s simple, it’s not always easy for it to stand out in the Sea of Bells and Whistles. Despite having a lot of greens in my collection, I really do like this one because of the finish. I love this polish for a few reasons, One is the name, another is the shade of green it is, and how lovely this applies it is fantastic like butter. This polish has something special it is a unique green that I will be reaching for over and over. Ahhhhhh I love this one I think I have to buy a back up because I will be using this one alot. I highly recommend this one. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel….

Day 320: China Glaze – Drawn To You

Hey Dolls,

Yet again I have another polish from the China Glaze Magnetix Collection this one is called Drawn To You. Drawn To You  is  a dusty Purple magnetic polish. The formula on this color is very dense and if you’re in a rush you could very easily get away with one coat. I did Two coats. First I did my “base” color coat and did the magnet part on the Second coat to make sure it was all even and covered. I was kinda let down with the CG magnet. It seems a little weak, no? Regardless of the weak magnet I still really like this polish and the effect it creates. I love this shade because it’s unique dusty purple, I don’t have anything in my collection like this at all. I really like the magnetic polish trend but I really want to see different colors being done. It seems everyone is released the same shades and I am disappointed by this. I don’t know if its possible to put the magnetic particles in lighter shades but we shall see what happens with this trend. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..

Day 319: China Glaze – Pull Me Close

Hey Dolls,

Today we have another magnetic polish from China Glaze’s Magnetix Collection it is called Pull Me Close. Pull Me Close is a light blue and silver shimmer and when the magnet is applied it pulls black (iron particles?) to the top making the pattern. This one is a little sheer like the other ones but when you use the magnet to do the design’s that covers up the bald spots. I don’t know if the magnet is weak or the polish is to thick but it is kinda of hard to get the design’s to show up you have to hold it a long time over the polish to get a good looking design. This collection has pretty colors but I’m not sure if I love them yet. The directions call for a base coat + one coat of polish and also recommend doing one nail at a time. Once you get the hang of it, the magnet is easy to use, it has mini ledges/guides to keep you from hitting your nail against the magnet – though I did a few times anyway. No big deal, just wipe it clean and start over. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..

Day 317: China Glaze – Attraction

Hey Dolls,

I have another fun magnetic polish for yo today it is called Attraction from China Glaze’s Magnetix Collection. Attraction oh my heart! It’s a little on the streaky side when left un-magnetized, but get that sucker under the magnet and wow. It lights up like the night sky, the base shade getting darker and the silver shimmer becoming starkly contrastive. Takes a few tries to get used to application process, but it’s so, so worth it. The shimmer particles are larger than those in the other polishes I showed you already.  The design shows up really easily on this one. This was also a little sheer with one coat but the design covers up any bald patches. China Glaze recommends using only one coat with their magnetic polishes. I started off using two coats but one coat give a much better design. On to the nail porn, until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel……
