Day 222: OPI – Designer…De Better

Hey Dolls,

Ahhhh Omg I loved the Muppet’s when I was little and now I love that OPI made a collection of nail polishes about the Muppets. ahahh so excited today I am going to show you one of  the shades from OPI’s Muppet Collection. This one is called Designer… De Better. Designer… De Better is a silvery foil packed with copper and pinkish particles. It is stunning! It almost looks like a light gold or champagne to the naked eye but as you can tell in my close up pictures you can really see those particles. I love this color, at first when I saw it in the bottle i was like another champagne color blah but when I swatched it I was like watch out this is the business.  I just love how unique this color is and how it just reminds me of bubbles in champagne. So if you havn’t already grabbed up your Muppet’s collection favorites I recommend you do before they are gone because this collection is limited edition. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..

Day 189: Barielle – Falling Star

Hey Dolls,

I have a fun polish for you today it is called Falling Star by Barielle it is from All Lacquered Up collection, which was a collaboration between All Lacquered Up Blog owner and Celebrity Manicurist Elle, Creative Director for theShades by Barielle line. Now you know and knowing is half the battle G.I. Joe lol. Onto Falling Star it  is a dusty-true blue with copper -bronze small glitter. It’s ever so slightly jellyish so you still get that look of depth with the glitter, but has great coverage in two coats. This one is really really on the thick side and a little hard to work with it is kind of like spreading cheese spread on your nails. Some nail bloggers have said to add a few drops of nail polish thinner to help with it, but I don’t have any at the moment. So I would say I love the color of this nail polish and the copper/bronze glitter throughout it is a great fall color, I love it Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel……

Day 179: Wet N’ Wild – Cougar Attack

Hey Dolls,

I showed you a preview of this one in my fall nail of the week or day, but here is my review on it. This one is called Cougar Attack by Wet N’ Wild it is from their On The Prowl Collection. This collection is a limited edition collection for Fall 2011. These polishes come in their fast dry formula and are available in six base colors and two “art” colors, which are really just glitter top coats. Cougar Attack  is a copper colored micro-glitter in a brown base I love that the glitter is so dense that it pretty much covers your nail. Also love that the base is dark enough to you don’t see any patchy spots. I did need three coats for coverage. I really really love this polish it reminds me of a cold glass of root beer it is so sparkly on the nail. This looks like a dupe for Deborah Lippmann’s Superstar, I will compare them both a little later. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel….

Day 162: OPI – Pros & Bronze

Hey Dolls,

Fall, Fall, Fall is here and to celebrate my favorite season I have some awesome fall colors to show you. I love fall it means pumpkins and cinnamon and cool weather. Today’s shade I have for you is called Pros & Bronze by OPI it is from their Serena Glam Slam U.S. Open Collection it comes in a duo pack with Love is a Racket. Today I’m going to just show you Pros & Bronze. Pros & Bronze is a bronzed foil polish, there are so many different colors going on in this shade….golden yellows, soft pinks, and brown tones I would say it is a  rose gold shade. This one is a little on the sheer side so for full coverage I would recommend two to three coats. If you don’t like that many coats you can always  find a similar color to layer it over. I love this color it reminds me of cinnamon and pumpkin pies yummy. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..

Day 145: Kleancolor – Chunky Holo Poppy

Hey Dolls,

Today I have one of those Chunky Holo polishes I got from Kleancolor in mini haul awhile back. This one is called Chunky Holo Poppy. This one reminds me of a goldfish I love it. Chunky Holo Poppy has multichrome glitter that flashes green, yellow and orange in a sheer reddish base. It is very sheer you can wear it alone but it doesn’t become very opaque I would recommend wearing it over another color if you want a better glittery effect. But all in all I would wear it alone or over another color I took a few pictures by itself and over sinful colors summer peach. I also tried it over OPI’s The Show Must Go On and OPI’S Take The Stage to show you how it changes over different polishes. Like I said this polish is very sheer even after three to four coats so it’s totally up to you how you wear it. The formula was great a little on the thick side but that’s because of the glitter but it went on smooth with no problems.Oh yea I also tried it over my favorite black Orly Liquid Vinyl. Hope you enjoy, until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel….

Day 66: OPI – Take The Stage

Hey Dolls,

I have another beautiful shade from the Burlesque Collection by OPI, it is called Take The Stage which is a reddish bronze foil. It reminds me of a copper penny, the application is smooth and isn’t streaky it is a great metallic color. Just a few coats and your good to go , it’s like a bunch of copper penny’s on your nails. It applies out to a super smooth metallic particle finish which doesn’t show any brush marks. I’d suggest waiting a minute or two between thin coats though, because if this polish catches on itself and pulls, it’s basically impossible to ever hide the uneven result. It’s a unique color and I love the metallic finish. Hope you enjoy dolls, until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..

Just Be Fierce,

❤ Anna
