That’s because today is my birthday hehehehe happy birthday to me and well I have an awesome polish for you today guess what it is called go on guess? …….. Don’t Know?!? I do I do I do I know what it is, it is Deborah Lippmann’s Happy Birthday heheh how appropriate. Happy Birthday is nail confetti it is in a clear base that houses what can only be described as an butt-load  of glitter. A rainbow of large hexagonal sequins are mixed with smaller square glitter.  Now these types of glitter polishes are tricky to work with. If you want the most glitter impact per stroke you have to lay it down kind of thick and with authority and even then the majority of the glitter will end up closer to your tips. For full coverage you will need tons and tons and tons of coats and wait between coats for it to dry or you will be removing the glitter you just laid down. This polish looks like a birthday party exploded in a bottle of polish I LOVE IT MUAHAHAHAH. You can wear this one alone if you prefer or on top of another color or in an awesome fierce nail design. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..

Just Be Fierce,

Day 117: Deborah Lippmann – Waking Up In Vegas

Hey Dolls,

Lately I have been on a neon kick or green shades, I wanted to switch it up a little bit and show you something different. Today’s shade I have is called Waking Up In Vegas by Deborah Lippmann. Deborah Lippmann’s website describes this shade as a putty-liscious gray (creme). It retails on her website for $16, I have to admit I didn’t pay that much for it I found it for way less on ebay. I know some people hate ebay but I have been lucky and found some great deals on stuff. Back to Waking Up In Vegas  doesn’t get too taupe-y or yellow and it’s uber-pigmented. You barely needed two coats for full coverage. The formula dries to a satin finish and I’m totally felling the finish on it but you could also wear it with a  shiny clear top coat as I know most of you would wither way this is a perfect gray it reminds me of concrete. You could also put a glitter polish on top to dress it up. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel….

Day 81: Deborah Lippmann- Lady Sings The Blues

Hey Dolls,

I have an awesome glitter polish for you today It’s called Lady Sings The Blues, it’s by Deborah Lippmann. It retails for about $18 and can be found at Nordstroms Department Stores. I didn’t pay that much and I didn’t get it at the department store, I got it off e-bay Anywho. Lady Sings The Blues  is described as a ”silver sparkled blue” with a glitter finish.  It’s a really deep, dark blackened blue with large hexagonal and smaller glitter particles of silver and blue. Application was good after two coats it becomes opaque and you also get a nice mix of glitter pieces on the nail. The formula with Lady Sings the Blues is not too thin or too thick, it flowed evenly, and covered in two coats.  I didn’t have any issues getting the glitter to cover and spread across the whole nail.  The drying seemed quicker than average, but you’ll definitely want a shiny top coat on this.  If you don’t want to feel the bumps of glitter, choose to do more than one clear top coat. It turns out smoother. Well  what can I say about this one is, IT’S A GLITTER NAIL POLISH, and I LOVE GLITTER AND GLITTER NAIL POLISH AND ALL THING SHINY, BLINGTASTIC AND GLITTERY. ok ok ok i’m calm that was my rant about glitter. But in all seriousness if you love glitter and dark polish this is the one for you. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…….
