Day 321: OPI – Save Me

Hey Dolls,

I have a fun polish for you today called Save Me from OPI’s Nicki Minaj Collection. Save Me is tons of silver micro glitter with tons of teal blue bar glitter that is holographic and changes colors once the lights hits it just right in a clear base. You can wear it alone with just three to four layers but it is a bit of a pain to remove and you may need three top coats so it will be smooth because the bar glitter is a little on the sharp side. You can also wear it alone over other colors to give them a little pizzazz.  I’m addicted to glitter so of course I loved this polish!  The formula was easy to work with.  I had a few of the normal issues I usually have with bar glitter, like getting it applied evenly and making sure all the pieces laid flat, but still, totally worth it. Do you own this polish?  If so, do you prefer to layer it or wear it alone?  I think it would look great layered over so many different colors. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..

Day 305: China Glaze – Techno

Hey Dolls,

I have an awesome glitter for you today it is called Techno from China Glaze’s Electropop Collection. It was re-released with this collection but it originally came out with their glitter and cremes Specialty Color Collection. Techno is a ton of silver holographic  micro glitter with bigger holographic hexagonal glitter. I absolutely love this glitter, it is a fun glitter to put over any color it gives you manni a little holographic fun glitter effect. For a glitter is smooth after it dries that is an added bonus. You can wear it alone but you will still see bits of bear nail it’s not really build-able to opaque. You can also wear it over others color it was meant to be a layering polish, I swatched it alone and over Wet N’ Wild Black Creme. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel……

Day 300: China Glaze – Octa Gone Wild

Hey Dolls,

I have an oldie but goodie for you today it is called Octa Gone Wild from China Glaze Kaleidoscope Collection that is now discontinued (sad face) but never fear there is always evil bay I mean ebay where you might be more than you want to pay but if you want it’s there. anywoodoodle Octa Gone Wild is  is a light purple lavender with tons of awesome holographic goodness. This is a gorgeous color I love the dusty lavender holoness GORGEOUS.  Unlike the OMG! Collection, the Kaleidoscope collection loves the top coat. Instead of chipping, I found it was almost rubbing away?  I really want to try the Nfu-Oh Aqua Base – I heard it’s amazing for holographic polishes as a base. We shall see. It goes on sheer at first but it is build-able to complete opaqueness. I took several pictures of it indoors and out doors in the sunshine (Sunny California). On to the nail porn, until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel……

Day 296: OPI Sand-erella

Hey Dolls,

I’m taking old school again today I have a fun holo for you it is called Snad-erella from OPI’s Summer For Shore Collection. Sand-erella is a sheer pale purple holo.  Sand-erella is more of a sleeper holo with a purple/greenish grey duochrome sheen. It’s not a in your face holo like OPI DS  Original. Yes it is pretty holo but compared to DS original it’s more of a subdued holo. But I still love it anyways. You may need 3 to 4 coats it builds up rather nicely it’s a glorious linear holo that is a pale purple love it. You can also add a top coat to this baby and it does not dull. I took tons of pictures indoors and outdoors just to show you how great the holo on this baby is. The Summer For Shore Collection is discontinued but you can find it on ebay. Good Luck on to the nail porn, until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel……

Day 295: China Glaze – Visit Me In Prism

Hey Dolls,

I’m taking it old school today, today I have Visit Me In Prism from China Glaze’s Kaleidoscope Collection. Visit Me In Prism is a silvery lilac holo. The Kaleidoscope collection is more of a scattered holo rather than a linear holo like the OMG collection. The formula on this one  is top notch. It’s thin and manageable, and it dries faster than any polish I’ve ever used. Lightning fast. it is sheer on the first coat, but after a few coats it becomes opaque and gorgeous. The main difference between the Kaleidoscopes and the OMGs is the size of the holographic particles. The Kaleidoscopes have larger particles and the holographic effect isn’t as smooth and linear as the OMGs. They may look like glitter, but these polishes aren’t glittery at all. They’re completely smooth, no chunks, no grit. These collections have been discontinued you can still find them on ebay if your willing to pay for them. I took tons of pictures indoors and outdoors in the sun to show you the holo effect. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..
