Day 266: Wet N’ Wild – Give Me A Price Quote

Hey Dolls,

I have another glitter bomb for you today this one is called Give Me A Price Quote from Wet N’ Wilds Coloricon Ice Baby Collection. Give A Price Quote is a yellow gold glitter, it has small micro glitter as well as bar glitter. I’m on the fence with this one I’m not a huge fan of yellow golds but I make an exception for this one because it is packed with glitter :D. The formula is on thick side, the polish is a little dense so it is hard to get even coats on the nail, but three coats made it fully opaque. You can wear it alone or over another color to jazz up your manicure. This polish was $2.99 each for 0.34 fl. oz each.  Yes, a dollar more expensive than previous Wet’n’Wild ColorIcon polishes but I would like to point out that they are crammed full of glitter. Well worth the cost I think , Of course if you hate glitter….But who hates glitter???? NOT ME I LOVE GLITTER :D. The finish when it dries on this one is rough and it does soak up top coat like there is no tomorrow so just a few coats of top coats will help with that and it also dries a little matte no worries , all can be fix. This collection was exclusive to Walgreens. I also took some pictures of it over Wet N Wild Ink Well to show you how it looks layered over another polish. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..

Day 261: Wet n’ Wild – Cost Is No Issue

Hey Dolls,

I have an awesome glitter bomb for you today it is called Cost Is No Issue from wet N’ Wild’s ColorIcon Ice Baby Collection. Cost Is No Issue is a fine teal glitter and larger round blue glitter. This is a possible match to Nails Inc. Fitzroy Square, but I haven’t compared them side by side. Fitzroy Square seems like it has a lot more green to me and this looks more of a light teal/turquoise. I will compare them later on. The formula was good on this one for what brand it is. It applied flawlessly, but it does have a thick, rough texture. I found that if I just waited a little longer in between coats that I didn’t have any clumping or dragging which can sometimes happen with these gritty glitters.Cost Is No Issue  applied evenly and dried quickly. It is a very opaque glitter so it is possible to wear it alone but if you want to jazz up a manicure you can also wear it alone. On to the nail porn, until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel……

Day 255: Wet N’ Wild – It’s All In The Cut

Hey Dolls,

I have another glitter bomb for you today it is called It’s All In The Cut  from Wet N’ Wild’s Coloricon Ice Baby Collection. It’s All In The Cut is  a gorgeous light lilac purple glitter base with round pink  holographic glitter suspended in a clear base. This polish is really thick and gloopy, but it’s mostly just because it’s so filled with a glitter explosion. I had no problems applying the polish in thin coats, and I used three coats for maximum coverage and intense color punch. One could easily get away with two coats, the glitter is really dense. I thought this color in the bottle would be to girly for me but I love the glitter bomb on my nails it is amazeballs. The finish is gritty and dries matte so if you want a smooth finish and shiny I would recommend a few coats of your favorite top coat to smooth it out and make it shiny. This looks like fairy dust. Very pretty and girly but absolutely not boring!  You can wear this one alone with a few coats for full coverage, but also since it is  suspended in a clear base you can also layer this baby over another polish to have an amazeballs glitter bomb manicure now onto the nail porn, I also took some pictures of it over Wet n’ Wild Black Creme to show you how it looks layered over another polish. until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..

Seche Vite and mani of the day

Hey Dolls,

I want to show you my fun glitter bomb of a manicure today and I am also using Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat for the first time so I will let you know how long my mani last and how I love the top coat in a week. For todays mani I used wet n’ wild Ink well for my base coat then on top of that I used Wet N’ Wild Diamond In The Rough. Then I used the  Seche Vite top coat. It dried really fast and it smoothed out the diamond in the rough and made it a shiny finish instead of it’s regular matte finish. I’m loving it so far. I only took a few pictures because my camera battery died and it takes awhile to charge it so I will maybe post more pictures tomorrow. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..

Day 252: Wet N’ Wild – Back Alley Deals

Hey Dolls,

I have a fun glitter bomb for you today it is called Back Alley Deals from Wet N’ Wilds Ice Baby Collection it is also from their coloricon line of polishes. Back Alley Deals is a superfine purple glitter with bright hot magenta round glitter in a larger size that stands out from the tiny glitter base. It can also be compared to Deborah Lippmann Flash Dance and Nails Inc. Bloomsbury Square Special Effects 3D glitter. I will do a comparison when I get my Nails Inc. in the nail mail. The formula on this was great considering it is a drugstore brand nail polish. It applied flawlessly but it is thick and has a rough texture to it. I found that if I just waited a little longer in between coats that I didn’t have any clumping or dragging which can sometimes happen with these gritty glitters. Back Alley Deals applied evenly and dried quickly. It is also opaque; I used three coats because I have a thing for using three coats and one coat of topcoat to add some shininess. Back Alley Deals is extremely textured and gritty and dries matte, so if you want a smooth finish you will need multiple coats of your favorite topcoat. But me I love the finish matte glitter amazeballs. I love this collection it is from it is super amzeballs. I love this one it reminds me of valentines day for some reason. Thats all for now until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…….On to the nail porn.

Day 239: Wet N’ Wild – Believe Me, It’s Real

Hey Dolls,

I have a fun glitter bomb of a polish for you today it is called Believe Me, It’s Real by Wet N’ Wild from their Coloricon Ice Baby Collection. Believe Me, It’s Real is a clear-based polish with fine blue glitter and medium round purple glitter.  I love the way this polish looks on the nail and in the bottle you can get this polish completely opaque in two to three coats. You can wear it alone or over another polish to spice it up a little bit. The polish itself is a little on the thick side so applying it you have to work with it a little but it will go on smoothly just be careful to put thin coats and let it dry between coats or you will have a gloppy mess on your hands literally. lol Also this one is a dupe for Nails Inc. Connaught Square so be on the look out for my comparison post soon. Well I’ll let my pictures do the rest of the talking for me until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..

Day 234: Wet n’ Wild – 24 Carats

Hey Dolls,

I have another polish from Wet N’ Wild Coloricon Ice Baby Collection, this one is called 24 Carats. 24 Carats is a bar glitter. This one is like New Years Eve confetti on your nails! I see copper, gold, and silver bar glitter mixed in with smaller glitter in the same three colors. This one can be worn alone or over another color it becomes opaque in two to three coats. There’s a lot going on, and it kinda reminds me of shag carpet, but I like it! The application was pretty easy, it doesn’t quite go on like butter but it is better then some thick glitter polishes, it went on quite nicely. I also took some pictures of it alone and also over Orly liquid Vinyl and Orly Luxe. Just to show how it can spice of any mani. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel….
