Day 250: Revlon – Lunar

Hey Dolls,

I have kind of a boring color to show you today but I felt a like it was time for a little boring- ness. Today’s shade is called Lunar it is by Revlon from their Just Add Sparkle Collection. Lunar is a jet black creme polish. It’s partner in crime is Galaxy . This polish needs two to three coats to become fully opaque, this is a great creme black and a staple in anyone’s nail polish collection. The only thing I dislike about this polish is the wonky brush that Revlon has in their polishes I loath it actually.  I threw in a few pictures with galaxy to show you how they go together. That is all I really have to say about this one, until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel….

Day 211: Revlon – Galaxy

Hey Dolls,

I can show you the world Shining, shimmering, splendid……. heehee I love Aladdin… well that ties into the polish I’m going to show you today it is called Galaxy by Revlon from their Just Add Sparkle Collection. It’s partner in crime it’s paired up with is called Lunar, so when put together it’s a lunar Galaxy. But more on lunar later, Galaxy is a clear  glitter top coat with sparse, uniform glitter that reflects somewhat holographic (rainbow), and some that are deep black (not reflective), with sporadic bits of medium-sized hexagonal glitter. When you put this glitter top coat over a black or deep navy blue it looks exactly like the Galaxy so this polish is aptly named. I love it alone as well as over another polish, I took several pictures of it alone and over its partner Revlon Lunar, Essence Bella, Essence Romeo, and Sinful Colors Snow Me White to show the different effects different polishes have with Galaxy. I love glitter and this one is a cheap awesome must have for anyone’s polish stash. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..

Day 206: Revlon – Rock

Hey Dolls,

I found my Revlon Rock so I decided to show it to you today, Rock is from the Just Add Glitter Collection. Rock is a medium-grape creme and it goes with Star. This one needs two coats to become opaque and I just have to mention I hate hate hate the brush on this one it is so wonky ugh, but I do love the color and finish of this one. I took a few pictures with Star over it to show you how they look together. That’s all I have for today’s color, until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..

Day 203: Revlon – Slipper

Hey Dolls,

Fantastic Glitter is what I have for you today this one is called Slipper by Revlon from their Just Add Sparkle Collection this one is paired with Ruby which I took a picture of Slipper over Ruby to show you how they go together but I will show  You Ruby another day. Slipper is a clear base with red and silver micro glitter plus silver holo hex glitter. Oh how this one excites me I know I have told you before I am not a big fan of red nail polish but I love this one because it’s glitter and it is not all red I love love love it. This is a great layering polish even though I would totally wear this one alone also. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..

Day 175: Revlon – Star

Hey Dolls,

Today’s polish I have for you is yup you guessed it another glitter polish. This one is called Star and it’s by Revlon from their Just Add Sparkle Collection, this collection has four creme colors with four glitter topcoats to pair them with. This one goes with a purple creme called Rock I’ll show that to you later. Star is a glittery purple top coat packed with hexagon and regular shaped holographic micro-glitter. The glitters are as follows purple and silver micro glitter and silver holo hex glitter. This polish looked awesome in the bottle and it looks awesome on the nails by itself or over another color. I took lots of pictures of it by itself  and over wet n’ Wild Ink Well, OPI Skull & Glossbones, OPI Planks A Lot, OPI Rumple’s Wiggin’ and OPI Funky Dunkey to show how it looks over different shades I couldn’t find Rock or I would have shown you it over rock I’ll add that picture later when I find Rock. I think this is fun and adds a very cool look to a basic creme color, you could also put this on top of pretty much any polish color and it would look amazing. The formula was great to work with not to thick not to runny it is easy to apply but the hardest part with these glittery polishes with large glitter is that the larger glitter tends to move around if it’s not partially dry already when you apply another coat, so sometimes you can push it to the tip. Patience is a virtue with this polish so make sure before you add another coat or two wait for it to dry completely before adding more coats. Until next nail polish lovelies, same nail time, same nail channel….
