China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base

Hey Dolls,

I recently have had trouble with my polish chipping after on day so I thought I would try something to help it last a little longer. I bought some China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat to see if that helps. This little experiment I will document for one week to see how well it lasted. This is day one, I started off by cleaning all my nails with polish remover to remover old polish left and debris. Then I painted all my nails with the adhesion base I let that dry and painted Essie’s Trophy Wife on all my nails, let that dry then put one coat of L.A. Girl Glitter Addicted in Celebrate on top and let that dry and finished it off with China Glaze Patent Leather Top Coat and then I put Cuticle Oil on my cuticles because they were really dry. On to the nail porn until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel….

Day 187: L.A. Girl Rock Star – Overdose

Hey Dolls,

The polish I’m going to show you today, a few different brands have similar polishes I will compare some later on for you. Today I have Overdose from L.A. Girl Rockstar Collection. Overdose is a combination of bright blue glitter, red-toned purple glitter and tiny silver glitter. The overall tone of this one ends up looking blue once applied, and the tiny flecks of silver really brighten the whole look. I love this polish you can wear it on its own with three to four coats for opaqueness. You can also wear it layered over other colors to spice up your manicures. The formula on this is just okay, not awesome, but not horrible. It is a little thick and it can be sheer but like I said it can become opaque. The drying time is kinda slow but not awful. This is a fun polish to have in anyone’s collection, until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel……

Everyone’s favorite time Haul Time!!!!!!!!

Hey Dolls,

I wanted to show you some more beauty’s I recently added to my collection. First off I have been lusting over China Glaze OMG collection which has been discontinued for awhile now and unless I want to spend a small fortune on ebay, unless I get lucky and get them individually for a great price. any who well I saw these on cherry culture and I did some research to see swatches and I loved what I saw so for now these will be my substitutes until I acquire the OMG collection, i’m working on it I acquired some at a great price.  I’m just going to show you the bottles I will be doing thorough reviews later on. Ok so on to the Haul I got the first from Milani’s website because cherryculture.com was out of it.

It is Hi-Tech by Milani:

Next I got off of Cherryculture.com because they were having a Labor Day Sale and they were cheap but I had ordered the gold 3D one but when they arrived they said it was out of stock grrrrr, there is six shades altogether. Here is the four that I got, I will get 3D soon.

Digital, Hi -Res, HD, and Cyberspace:

I also saw some awesome polishes I never tried before on someone else’s blog I love the swatches I had to try them, I also got these from cherryculture.com like I said they had a good labor day sale, heheheh. These are from L.A. Girl’s Rock Star Collection.

Supernova, Overdose, Crowd Surfing, and Head Banging:

The next to I was browsing ebay I wasn’t intending on buying them but I saw them and then did some investigating on what they looked like and I loved the swatches I found and I was sold. The first on is from Revlon it is called Star:

The second I am absolutely in love with I never heard of the brand before, so during my research of it I fond out it is made by the same people who make color club. This one is by Funky Fingers and it is called Sand & Stilettos, I swatched  this bad boy and boy is it glittertastic, I love it saved the best for last.

Well dolls that is my mini haul for today hope you enjoy the new additions to my collection, until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel….
