Day 327: China Glaze – Flying Dragon

Hey Dolls,

Well what do we have here? an oldie but goodie. Today I have China Glaze’s Flying Dragon it was originally from their Neon Ink Collection, but I believe it is permanently part of their core colors now. Flying Dragon OMG is an awesome color it is a neon purple/magenta that has tons of amazing pink and blue glitter in it. Amazeballz. Like I said it is a neon polish and  in case you weren’t aware, neons dry to a semi-matte finish. If you don’t like that, simply slap on a shiny top coat like I did and you’re good to go. In my opinion it’s MUCH more stunning shiny – you’re just not doing the polish justice and you may or may not like it matte. I don’t know if my pictures do this polish justice but I took pictures of it bare and with a top coat to see if I could capture how amazingly unique this polish is I love it. If you don’t have this in your collection you must go out and buy it right now. lol Now on to the nail porn, until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel……

Day 322: OPI – Metallic 4 Life

Hey Dolls,

I have another awesome glitter from OPI’s Nicki Minaj Collection this one is called Metallic 4 Life. Metallic 4 Life has a small, medium and larger hexagonal silver glitter in a black base. It is absolutely jammed packed with glitter which makes it quite gloopy, but that’s just how heavily glittered polishes are, it’s how it applies that matters and it applies perfectly smooth. I love this one the black base is a little on the sheer side so it you don’t want to do two to three coats of this you can try it over a black polish. It’s gorgeous. Sparkly and different. Love it! I don’t know if I have anything like this one or not if I do I’ll do a comparison. This is one of my favorite shades from the nicki minaj collection. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel….

Day 321: OPI – Save Me

Hey Dolls,

I have a fun polish for you today called Save Me from OPI’s Nicki Minaj Collection. Save Me is tons of silver micro glitter with tons of teal blue bar glitter that is holographic and changes colors once the lights hits it just right in a clear base. You can wear it alone with just three to four layers but it is a bit of a pain to remove and you may need three top coats so it will be smooth because the bar glitter is a little on the sharp side. You can also wear it alone over other colors to give them a little pizzazz.  I’m addicted to glitter so of course I loved this polish!  The formula was easy to work with.  I had a few of the normal issues I usually have with bar glitter, like getting it applied evenly and making sure all the pieces laid flat, but still, totally worth it. Do you own this polish?  If so, do you prefer to layer it or wear it alone?  I think it would look great layered over so many different colors. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..

Day 312: China Glaze – Skyscraper

Hey Dolls,

How are ya? lol i’m great today I have a fun glitter fort you it is called Skyscraper from China Glaze’s Metro Collection. At first I only owned this in a mini because I bought the mini four pack and it came with three out of the four colors I wanted but I didn’t realize I would hate mini bottle brushes ugh they suck, so long story short I went into sally’s a few weeks ago and they had polishes on clearance and what do you know they had a big bottle of Skyscraper on sale for $1.99 you best believe I snatched that one up with a quickness lol. Skyscraper is a translucent blue-violet color base with lots of silver glitter. It is mostly opaque in two to three coats. but if you prefer you can layer it over a similar shade or over something totally different to change it up a bit. It doesn’t dry gritty at all and one coat of your favorite top coat gives it a great smooth finish. Skyscraper will be a little difficult to remove, like any other glitter-based polish, if worn alone and as densely as shown in the swatches, so I recommend soaking a piece of felt in remover and pressing against the nail for 15-20 seconds, then pull to remove. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel……

Day 302: Nicole by OPI – Disco Dolls

Hey Dolls,

I have to start with saying that I’m not a fan of the Kardashians but I do love there nail polish collection from Nicole by OPI. With that said today I have Disco Dolls from the Kardashian Kolor Kollection from Nicole by OPI. I absolutely love this color I haven’t had anything in my collection like this or seen anything similar to this. Disco Dolls is a gold glitter that has gold micro-glitter & tons of multi-colored glitter in a clear base. Absolutely Fabulous this one is amazeballz. One thing I do hate is that Nicole by OPI brush are stubby a little short so it feels awkward in my hand when I paint. But on the plush side it is a wide brush so it helps the color to go on smooth and nicely. The formula on this one is smooth it dries a little gritty and matte but a great topcoat can fix that. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..

Day 299: Sally Hansen Cha-Ching!

Hey Dolls,

Hello world how are all you doing? Today I have a glitterbombtastic polish for you it is called Cha-Ching! from Sally Hansen Gem Crush Collection. This little baby is a ton of red micro glitter with larger silver round glitter in a clear blase. I love this one it reminds me of flashy Vegas show girls with the big head pieces and glittery flashy dresses. This also looked a little familiar to me and then it hit me Gettin’ Miss Piggy With It from OPI’s Muppet’s Collection, they look like exact dupes of each other I will do a comparison soon. Cha -Ching! also looks like  China Glaze Love Marilyn. Hmm a trend I see. Well the formula on this one is a little thick but it doesn’t affect the way it applies, it’s not exactly smooth a great top coat will help with this and the silver glitter show’s up on some nails more than others. I have read some people had trouble with this collection peeling off the nails in whole stripes but I haven’t had a problem with that I use my China Glaze Strong Adhesion base and I am good to go. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..

Hey Dolls,

Sorry I have been MIA lately I’ve been working a lot and been really tired when I come I know that is no excuse but I have some fun things planned in the nail art department lol. I’m On vacation this week so I’m going to catch up on my posts I owe you eight nail polish post and 8 nail arts so lets do this lol. I have a fun glitter polish for you today it is called Material Girl from China Glaze’s Eye Candy 3-D Glitter Collection. For one I really love this collection, I know I’ve said this before because it is themed to Marilyn Monroe and her Movies, but I absolutely love her and this collection is all glitters and I love my glitters eek. So now on to the polish Material Girl is a ton of pink micro glitter with medium size round pink glitter and larger holographic pink hexagonal glitter in a clear base. Yes that is three different sizes of glitter in this baby, Love it. It is jammed packed with glitter with that said it’s not hard to work with it goes on with no trouble at all. It does dry matte and a little gritty like most glitters, but nothing a top coat can’t solve. This is the ultimate girly pink glitter bomb. With one to two coats you have full opaque coverage, you can wear it alone or over another polish to give it some pizzazz. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..
