Day 325: OPI – Super Bass Shatter

Hey Dolls,

I know what your thinking omg another shatter polish I am all shattered out why do we need another one? Well I will tell you why. This one is called Super Bass Shatter from OPI’s Nicki Minaj Collection. Super Bass Shatter is a pretty pinkish purple though, leaning on fuchsia is has tons of tiny shimmer particles in it. This one is really unique it does dry matte but an awesome clear coat brings the shininess back to life. There isn’t much to say about it, but it shatters and it is a sparkly purplish metallic shatter I love how unique this one is. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel….

Day 316: China Glaze – Instant Chemistry

Hey Dolls,

I have another fun polish for you this one is called Instant Chemistry from China Glaze Magnetix collection 2012. It is a dark burgundy purple shimmer magnetic polish. This one isn’t as sheer as Cling On was but I still used two coats for it to become opaque. I noticed you have to hold the magnet over the polish for at least 15 to 20 seconds in order to get a good design to show up one the nail. Instant Chemistry is just about the sexiest burgundy-plum polish I’ve ever come across, and (while it looks a little streaky during application), it settles into just the right evenness. I know not everyone agrees with me on this, but I like a little bit of a brushed-metal finish in my metallics and shimmers – not so much that it’s streaky, but just enough to give a little texture. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..
