Day 294: China Glaze – Ray-Diant

Hey Dolls,

Last but surely not least the last polish in the China Glaze Prismatic Chroma Glitter Collection. This one is called Ray-Diant. Ray-Diant is a Gold/Pale Green microglitter polish with all sorts of different coloured glitters, both small and hex shaped medium, that sparkle like crazy, as well as duochrome that flashes green to gold depending on the light. I had no trouble with application; it’s quite thick like these dense glitters usually are, but it wasn’t problematic. It did dry gritty and a little matte but nothing a few coats of a clear top coat can’t handle to smooth it out. It becomes opaque in two to three coats and you have a wonderful pale green glitterbomb on your hands. Literally ba bum ba. lol I took several pictures indoors and outdoors and also over a black to show off the duochrome more better. I don’t know why but in the sun this one alone just looked like silver glitter, but over the black you can tell its green. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..

Day 293: China Glaze – Full Spectrum

Hey Dolls,

How ya all doing? Tonight I have another Prismatic Chroma Glitter from China Glaze for you it is called Full Spectrum. Full Spectrum is a Pale Pink microglitter polish with all sorts of different coloured glitters, both small and hex shaped medium, that sparkle like crazy, as well as duochrome that flashes subtly from pink to purple. I like this color it is very unique like all the other colors in this collection. The polish covers really well and the formula was easy to work  with. It did dry a little gritty and matte a few coats of a clear coat can smooth it out. It took two to three coats to become opaque.  I took tons of pictures outside and inside as well as over a black to show off the duochrome effect more. That’s all I have for today onto the nail porn, until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel….

Day 291: China Glaze – Liquid Crystal

Hey Dolls,

Please sir can I have some more???? Yes, yes you may….. I have another polish from China Glaze Prismatic Chroma Glitter Collection, this one is called Liquid Crystal. Oohhh I love this baby… Liquid Crystal is a metallic blue microglitter polish with all sorts of different coloured glitters, both small and hex shaped medium, that sparkle like crazy, as well as duochrome that flashes a pink purple. AMAZEBALLZ China Glaze you have done well with this collection. The abundance of glitter creates a very vibrant and sparkly effect. The formula and application is very smooth. All the uniqueness and beauty of this collection really shows in the sun when duochrome effect shows up. This is the star of this collection I had no trouble with application; it’s quite thick like these dense glitters usually are, but it wasn’t problematic. It dries rough as is to be expected. Like I’ve said before a few coats of a topcoat and it smooths it out. I also swatched this one alone and over wet n’ wild black creme to show the duochrome effect. Onto the nail porn, until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..

Day 290: China Glaze – Polarized

Hey Dolls,

What do I have here???? Could it be yes it is another polish from the Prismatic Chroma Glitter Collection, this one is Polarized. Polarized is a silver microglitter polish with all sorts of different coloured glitters, both small and hex shaped medium, that sparkle like crazy,as for the duochrome effect in this one I couldn’t really find one so I’m not sure if this one has one or not. Ont he nail I didn’t see one or in the bottle either hmmm I don’t know. This is really blingy and sparkly, but it is the least imaginative of the collection.  It is basically, well, silver.  Don’t get me wrong, it is a good silver polish and I like silvers so this will definitely be happily adorning my fingers again. But like the other two I had no trouble with application; it’s quite thick like these dense glitters usually are, but it wasn’t problematic. It dries rough as is to be expected. A few coat of a clear top coat and it smooths itself out. Like the others I swatched this one alone and over Wet N’ wild Black Creme indoor shoots and outdoor shoots. On to the nail porn, until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel……

Day 289: China Glaze – Prism

Hey Dolls,

Guess what I have today??? another polish from teh China Glaze Prismatic Chroma Glitters Collection this one is called Prism and it is just as much amazeballs as yesterdays color. Prism is a purple lilac microglitter polish with all sorts of different colored glitters, both small and hex shaped medium, that sparkle like crazy, as well as duochrome that flashes a darker purple. I love this collection *drool* it is AMAZEBALLZ!!!!!!!! This limited edition collection was inspired by the beauty and magic of multi-coloured prisms. Complete with glitter and holographic-like technology. These six icy shades give the appearance of multi-layers of iridescent color. So add this incredible illusion of color to your line up today…The color shift isn’t as evident in this one, I think purple is a predominant ‘shift’ colour.  Since this is purple already, then theres no real discernible change.  Still very pretty though .I had no trouble with application on this one either it’s quite thick like these dense glitters usually are, but it wasn’t problematic. It dries rough as is to be expected. But with a few coats of  a top coat it smooths it out no problem. I also took several pictures of it alone indoors and outdoors and also over Wet n’ Wild Black Creme indoors and outdoors. Like I said yesterday black tends to show off the duochrome effect well. On to the nail porn until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..

Day 288: China Glaze – Optical Illusion

Hey Dolls,

I have an amazeballz glitter bomb for you today, it is Optical Illusion from China Glaze Prismatic Chroma Glitters Collection. Optical Illusion is a turquoise microglitter polish with all sorts of different colored glitters, both small and hex shaped medium, that sparkle like crazy, as well as duochrome that flashes magenta-purple. At first I was a little disappointed because these weren’t holographic since the first press release made it seem like they were going to be holographic polishes, but it eventually became known that they weren’t. But as soon as I swatched the whole collection I was beyond amazed I love them. China Glaze calls these chroma glitters, and uses the phrase “holographic-like technology” in its description of these. I was very curious about this, since I understood “chroma glitters”, glitter and duochrome, but I was at a loss as to what they meant by “holographic-like” technology. So, it’s not holo but it’s holo-like?? Turns out that description is pretty dead on. When I look at the polish on my nails sparkling in the light, I can swear it looks like there are small holo glitters in there, but looking at the bottle none of the glitter appears to be holographic! Feels like one way or the other, my eyes are playing tricks on me! The name of this color definitely fits! I swatched Optical Illusion alone and over Wet N’ Wild Black Creme since black  tends to show off duochrome really well. All my pictures are inside and outside to show off the gorgeousness of the polish. This collection is set to come out in march and I did a little searching and there is very few swachtes of this collection out there. I had no trouble with application; it’s quite thick like these dense glitters usually are, but it wasn’t problematic. It dries rough as is to be expected. I’m sure a second layer of topcoat would get it totally smooth. Certainly not the roughest glitter out there! Now I am warning you now this post is picture heavy, now onto the nail porn, until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel…..
