Day 304: Essie – Trophy Wife

Hey Dolls,

Oh boy is this one gorgeous I love it, it is called Trophy Wife from Essie who re-released it for their Dive Bar Holiday collection. I am not sure what collection it is originally from but that is what I know. Trophy Wife is a gorgeous deep teal has a slight pearl finish. This one is great in two coats even though I love my three coats I love this one with two coats only I can’t explain why I just love this one that way. I don’t have much to say about this one but it is an awesome shade and great for anyone’s collection. So I will let the photos speak for themselves. Until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel……

Day 272: Deborah Lippmann – Just Dance

Hey Dolls,

I have a fun polish for you today it is called Just Dance from Deborah Lippmann’s ‘Dance Music’ Mini Trio (Nordstrom Exclusive). Just Dance is a brilliant aqua – glitter, it is basically a ton of small aqua glitter and larger bright blue glitter in a very sheer blue jelly base. I love how the different shades of blue makes this color look almost three dimensional! This set is a trio of three mini bottles, they are .30 FL Oz 9 ML. The formula on this polish was thick but really easy to work with you can get it opaque in a few easy coats. It dries with a bit of a gritty texture but two good top coats smooths it out. Like I said this trio is exclusive to Nordstrom and retails for $29 you can also get it off their website, it was a 2011 holiday collection it is still available at the moment. it has a few dupes the only one I can think of at the moment is Wet N’ Wild’s Cost Is No Issue. You can wear it alone or over another color to give your manicure some pizzazz. I took some pictures of it over a black polish to show you how it looks layered over Revlon Lunar. That’s all I have to say about this polish today until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel….

Day 261: Wet n’ Wild – Cost Is No Issue

Hey Dolls,

I have an awesome glitter bomb for you today it is called Cost Is No Issue from wet N’ Wild’s ColorIcon Ice Baby Collection. Cost Is No Issue is a fine teal glitter and larger round blue glitter. This is a possible match to Nails Inc. Fitzroy Square, but I haven’t compared them side by side. Fitzroy Square seems like it has a lot more green to me and this looks more of a light teal/turquoise. I will compare them later on. The formula was good on this one for what brand it is. It applied flawlessly, but it does have a thick, rough texture. I found that if I just waited a little longer in between coats that I didn’t have any clumping or dragging which can sometimes happen with these gritty glitters.Cost Is No Issue  applied evenly and dried quickly. It is a very opaque glitter so it is possible to wear it alone but if you want to jazz up a manicure you can also wear it alone. On to the nail porn, until next nail polish, same nail time, same nail channel……
